How to redesign your old shelf to new "Vintage Shelf" ?

Hello Bloggers,
I want to share an idea to redesign your old shelf. If you buy a new shelf of course this will cost more than redesigning your old shelf to a new one.

The Ideas :

First, My old shelf had no legs. So, i bought 6 table legs. 

Second, I want to redesign my old shelf to with a vintage look.

What We Need :

1.  6 table legs (optional, you can use 4 legs, but I wanted my shelf to look more sturdy so I used 6 legs of the table). I bought in here -> Click here 
2. Masking Tape. I bought in here -> Click here
3. Wood Glue. I bought in here -> Click here
4. Acrylic Paint, Color : Gold. I bought in here -> Click here
5. Watercolor Brush & Pallete. I bought in here -> Click here
6. Pylox, Color : Sparkling Gold. I bought in here -> Click here

How to Redesign

1. Paint your table legs with pylox. then wait until dry.
2. After dry, attach the six leg brackets to each corner using wood glue or you can screw the legs with screws or nails. My old shelf is Medium-density fibreboard (MDF), I recommend to used wood glue. 
3. Then wait until the glue dry (waiting time +/- one day)
4. Cut masking tape according to the size of shelf
5. Paint the masking tape using Acrylic Paint. then wait until dry
6. Now, your old shelf looks like new
